Senior Unity Developer

DESCRIPTION

Doom Turtle is seeking a talented and experienced Unity developer to join our creative and dynamic team based in London, Ontario. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for game development and will be relied upon to help drive the development of our critically successful title Ember Knights, as well as exciting new projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Migrate various projects to other platforms, including consoles
  • Design, develop, and maintain clean and efficient code based on design requirements and specifications
  • Work with all team members to create well-designed, reusable, and reliable systems
  • Work on multiple tasks simultaneously and be adaptable to changing priorities, where needed
  • Work closely with other programmers to improve overall code quality
  • Conduct regular code reviews
  • Maintain a high level of technical quality

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • 7+ years of commercial game programming experience
  • 3+ years of game development experience with Unity
  • Experience porting and shipping at least one game to console as a Senior Programmer
  • Excellent knowledge of console requirements and optimization
  • Good knowledge of Hansoft or equivalent agile project management software
  • A big passion for gaming and game development
  • Located in, or willing to relocate to, London, Ontario, Canada
